Music at Christmas means jingling bells, carolers donning mufflers out in the snow, cowboys singing about red-nosed reindeers, and silent nights complete with babes in mangers. Christmas music harkens our senses to yesteryear with nostalgic glee while gifting us the occasional, grand pause for reverently marking the true reason for the season. It’s no surprise during this most wonderful time, we celebrate both the magic and the miracle of Christmas with music. Music is how God chose to announce the Christ Child’s birth on that very first Christmas night.
In an ’And the Award Goes to…’ format, I have compiled a Christmas Go-To Playlist to satisfy even the most savvy and discerning Christmas music lover’s delight. I’m so excited to be sharing it with you this holiday season. And in a year of hard, what better way to celebrate!?
For twelve days starting on Mon., Dec. 14th, Fa-la-la-la-la-low along as I countdown my 2020 Christmas Go-To Playlist on A Meaningful Journey’s Facebook and Instagram pages. Tag a friend. A perfect blend of old and new. Secular and Holy. I guarantee you’ll discover a new favorite or two.
